Harrison's Guest House, & Guide Service, located in Saratoga Wyoming "where the trout jump in main street", is nestled at the base of the Sierra Madres and the Snowy ranges. At the guest house the North Platte is our front yard, with clients catching hundreds of trout each season as their friends cheer them on from the deck! Our location truly serves as a gateway to this grand mountain playground and fly fishing paradise.

The fly fishing gem surrendered by these mountain ranges is the North Platte River, providing incredible scenic beauty, numerous encounters with wildlife, including deer, antelope, moose, bighorn sheep, bald and golden eagles and, oh yeah, the river holds a few trout more than willing to test your fly fishing talents! Recognized by the Wyoming Fish and Game as a Blue Ribbon fishery, the North Platte is regarded as the premier Blue Ribbon trout stream in Wyoming. We have access to and guide on over 100 miles of water filled with Rainbow, Brown and Cutthroat trout... at last count over 3,200 catchable fish per mile!

Those numbers, by the way, do not include the fabulous tailwater fishing to be had in the spring and fall at Gray Reef on the lower North Platte River. We guide our clients on stretches where you may find as many as 7,000 fish per mile, mainly Rainbows with a few monster Browns, many up to 10lbs! These fish carry an incredible average size of between 16" - 18" with big motors!

In addition, just 15 minutes from the guest, house we have close to 5 miles of private North Platte River access on historic Pick Ranch with it's outstanding trout water, both river and lake fishing.

IF and when the trout wear you down you may want to experience other activities in our area which we can happily arrange for you...... horse back trips, wagon rides, scenic float trips, mountain biking, golf, upland bird hunting, horse/fishing treks, and the ever popular health Spa.
